The use of alcohol in tincturing is intentional and functional. It:

They are safe for children and sensitive individuals, and allow for flexible, precise intake to individual needs. The alcohol content per serving is less than what’s found in a ripe banana. If preferred, you can substantially decrease the alcohol content by pouring boiling water over the dose and allowing it to cool before consumption—or choose from our alcohol-free BIORAY® Kids, Infant, RAYZ for teens, and BIORAY® Adult Daily lines.
