Minimizing the Dangers of Chlorine Exposure

Winter is the perfect time for the whole family to relax and enjoy the hot tub. In fact, research shows using hot tubs can improve behavior and communication skills in children. However, the chlorine additives can cause irritations of the eyes, skin and respiratory tract especially when inhaled. These vapors are called volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and they are even in our bath water!

WHAT CAN YOU DO ABOUT CHLORINE EXPOSURE?NDF Focus

Although water filtration is helpful to reduce exposure, you can also safely remove chlorine from the body with NDF FOCUS®, an organic chemical and heavy metal detoxifier.

In our study we added NDF to chlorinated water and the chlorine could no longer be detected.

NDF FOCUS® is proven effective in sequestering chlorine from water and in removing toxic heavy metals and chemicals from inside the body. Parents can give it to their child before and after swimming, soaking in the hot tub, or taking a bath tub to avoid irritations from chlorine exposure.
